# Oxyon — ecosystem charter

**Oxyon is the company and technology ecosystem that helps people, organizations,
and AI make better decisions — by transforming observations into trusted
knowledge.** It is *decision infrastructure*: trust is the mechanism, the better
decision is the outcome. Any one technology — provenance, spatial computing, AI,
identity — is just *one component*; everything exists to turn observations into
decisions that can stand on evidence.

## The Oxyon Model
The logical chain by which an observation becomes a better decision. Not a slogan —
the model the whole ecosystem implements:

Each layer supports the next: observation creates evidence; evidence enables
verification; verification creates confidence; confidence enables trust; trust
enables better decisions. The cycle then begins again.

## The name — O·XY·O·N
The wordmark embeds **XYO**. Each letter is a foundational principle:

## GeoProof — the protocol
**GeoProof is the canonical proof schema and protocol** used throughout the
ecosystem. Every application emits standardized proof events. GeoProof defines
proof schemas, event models, verification standards, and interoperability.
**Oxyon is the company; GeoProof is the protocol.** GeoProof is an *implementation*
of the philosophy — today's best expression of it. Oxyon, the company, must remain
broader than any single protocol: the belief ("every decision deserves evidence")
outlives any one schema, chain, or product. (Placeholder lives at
`packages/geoproof/`; on-chain anchoring follows the XL1 chain-data patterns.)

excessive-Web3 aesthetics.

## Development philosophy
Reusable systems over duplication. Think in **services, APIs, protocols, events**.
Optimize for the next 10 years; everything contributes to one unified ecosystem,
