Oxyon Wallet for Android

What's in 1.2.4

• Fingerprint unlock (Settings › Fingerprint unlock): unlock with your fingerprint, with your password as a fallback. Adding a new fingerprint to your phone turns it off until you turn it on again.
• Pressing Back on an approval screen now rejects the request and returns to the site, instead of closing the app.
• Browser tab: open dApps inside the wallet and connect with an approval screen for every request.
• Sign in with your XL1 account on sites that support it, such as GeoHackers wallet verification. No transaction, no fee.
• The new Oxyon Wallet icon, and the app shows its real version number.

Install

1. On your Android phone (Android 8 or newer), open this page and tap Download APK.
2. Already have 1.2.3 from this page? Installing 1.2.4 updates it and keeps your wallet.
3. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps for this one install. You can switch it back off afterwards.
4. Tap Install, then open Oxyon Wallet and create or restore your wallet.

Check it is genuine

Only download Oxyon Wallet from oxyon.io. The file and its signature should match:

• Package: io.oxyon.wallet, version 1.2.4 (10204). It uses internet access and, for optional fingerprint unlock, the fingerprint sensor. It never asks for camera, microphone, location, contacts or files.

When Google Play is available

Google Play signs its copy of the app with Google's own key, so it cannot update this download in place. When the Play version is out, write down your recovery phrase, uninstall this version, then install from Play and restore with the recovery phrase. Oxyon Wallet keeps no backup anywhere else, so the recovery phrase is the only way to restore it.
